In fact, there's no particular story to tell about this one! It's a tradional lotus mandala that we learned at the course. Not so very complicated, just following the instructions. The color advice for the lotus was pink. I didn't feel for pale pink, so I used a more intense pink. The green leaves and the illusion of water form the soft border of the mandala.
Drawing all those leaves was fun, and by coloring them I was able to practice the shading technique.

Hallo daar, vandaag alweer een kort verhaaltje!
Er is eigenlijk niet zoveel bijzonders over deze mandala te melden! Dit is een traditionele lotusmandala, die we tijdens de cursus hebben geleerd. Niet echt lastig, gewoon de instructies volgen. Het kleuradvies voor de lotus was roze. Ik had geen zin in bleekroze, dus heb ik een fellere roze gebruikt. De groene bladeren en de illusie van water vormen de zachte rand van de mandala.
Het tekenen van al die bladeren was heel fijn om te doen en met het kleuren kon ik weer oefenen met de schaduwtechniek.
